ABOUT ME!

I was a pastry chef (yep, you read that right) who studied at the Treasure Island Culinary Arts School in San Francisco. Upon graduation, I ventured to Las Vegas to drape the neon signs of the world-famous strip with icing, but Sin City had bigger plans for me. Quickly spotted by local talent agents, I began modeling and doing spokes and hosting work at Vegas’ mega conventions, a skill I honed in Middle school back in Greensboro, NC where I interviewed dignitaries such as city council members and local business owners for a local cable access channel. The rest, as they say, is history. I later moved to Los Angeles and it’s been "gold foil leaves" ever since. From my co-star roles on OWN's "Queen Sugar" and the Hallmark Channel’s Christmas movie "Holly & Ivy”, to over 40 commercials and several independent films; my outgoing and adventurous nature has certainly served me well. And not being one to wait for opportunities to find me, I have also written and produced my own projects, including two web series (see below) currently available online. My broad range goes easily from stage to screen, where I always deliver high performances in various genres from comedy to action, to drama which has earned me a Best Supporting Actress Award. So the sky's the limit (or should I say ‘pies’ the limit) for this Jamaican-American who isn't afraid of hard work to make my goals of being a series regular come true.
